Michael L. Priest & Associates, Inc., (MLP) was founded in 1977 in Livonia, Michigan, by Michael L. Priest (1946-2021). With one employee, a strong client focus, and an entrepreneurial spirit, Mike set off to create an organization to provide Metro Detroit contractors, developers, and architects with reliable and trusted civil engineering services. From the start, Mike understood that each project was as much about innovation and collaborating as a team with the many different stakeholders as it was about engineering. Today, nearly half a century later, MLP’s success still stands on those core ideas.
