Background / Experience

Field Survey Technician

11 years of experience with Michael L. Priest & Associates, Inc. as a Surveyor. Dan is the senior field technician at MLP and has proficiency in the use of all survey equipment and software programs including total stations, automatic leveling and GPS systems. He has worked his way up thru the organization thru hard work and a dedication to excellence. As an example of Dan’s work ethic, he completed his Associates degree in Civil Technology and Bachelors Degree through Michigan Tech while working full time with MLP. Dan enjoys watching football and playing golf in his spare time.

Responsible for organizing data and equipment for survey crew(s) and executing work plans drawn up by the Chief Surveyor. The tasks performed by Mr. Cole’s crew includes all manner of land surveying, such as ALTA / ACSM Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ground control for aerial photogrammetry, staking of property corners, construction layout of roads, sanitary and storm sewers, water mains, buildings as well as storm water inspections.
